Decided that we don't really need that pane. I never use it and it's mostly in the way. Set it to emptyImage for GlassHUD, Jelloshot and LessHUD.

Are you sure about that? I use it occasionally for a few of the more exotic commands of which I can't remember the hotkeys, and to give quick in-sector orders, for which I think there is no hotkey.

orders are:
Attack, Capture, Defend,Pickup, Goto, Repair, Join, Mine and Build
Hotkeys are, respectively:
Ctrl+a, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+D, Ctrl+p, Ctrl+g, Ctrl+r, Ctrl+j, Ctrl+m and Ctrl+B

they are seriously not that hard to remember. Quickest way to give in sector orders seems to me: click player/drone -> right-click on what you want it done to, whatever it is. That's usually enough.

Only time where there may be confusion is when giving Minefield/Tower? drones orders, but there the Ctrl G is still quicker than mousing all over the screen.

The only exotic command is 'join' and it's exotic because it has no purpose.
